Once you have selected the right floor for your interior, our installation team will commence the job on your appointed date and location. Completion time frame may vary depending on the scale of the space and we guarantee to deliver as expected.
In majority of cases, the installation team take care of delivery and installation in the same day.
If you select the solid hardwood, you will need at least 3 days between supply and installation. Because solid hardwood needs to adjust (acclimate) to the moisture and temperature of environment. Please let us know if you are installing the floor in a air-conditioned or heated room as they have specific requirements.
The subfloor surface should be clean, moisture free and leveled. The problems of an uneven surface manifests almost immediately after installation. There are different methods to surface concrete substrates, such as shot blasting, diamond grinding or scraping.
Another approach is using Plywood under the flooring. This technique includes layering sheets of wood veneer with adhesives under heat and pressure. This way we ensure subfloor is not susceptible to expansion and contraction.
Our expert installers select the laying technique based on type of flooring material and the type of subfloor. For example, concrete floors require glue or floating methods while wooden floors require secret nailing or screws.
If "Tongue and Groove" system is incorporated inside the boards, the installation become much faster and easier because the board fold and lock together with no messy glue or clamping. This method has become more popular recently.
